Open 8KM Race
$25 entry fee before May 30/$30 after
FAMILY RATE (Maximum 3 entries) $65
Starts 9:00 a.m.
Runners of all abilities are invited to test themselves on our challenging 8K course. Traffic is controlled by the Waterloo Regional Police and all corners will be marshaled.
Open 8KM Race Overall Awards:
Open Male & Female
1st, 2nd, 3rd (NB merchandise)
Masters Male & Female
1st, 2nd, 3rd (NB merchandise)
· Plus $100 for breaking the open course record and winning the race (running only)
· Mid Pack Awards (Male & Female- must be present). NB merchandise awards to the top 3 male and female.
· Master Runners (8K only) to cross the finish line. *(The winners of these awards may also place in the top three positions and still retain both prizes.)
These are the only duplication of awards allowed in these events.
· Awards are presented to the top 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each 5-year-age category.
Age categories:
12 and under
13 to 15
16 to 19
20 and over (five-year age categories)
· Computerized timing and results by RRResults. (Results will be posted and also online after the race at www.rrresults.com).
· Post race refreshments served under the grandstand (fresh fruit, yogurt and snacks).
· Participants must be present to claim draw prizes.
